Since we’re still on a CNY high, let me share my trip to Binondo/ Chinatown a couple of weeks back.

Whenever I look back at my childhood, I fondly remember going to Divisoria and Escolta with my mom almost every week.  She loved hoarding fabric and craft stuff in Tabora so we’re out and about Saturday morning either via ferry or jeepney.  Lunch would either be in Estero or at Savory.  When mom could no longer go, we also stopped going.

The next time I had a chance to visit was with our office interns way back 2007.  I super love this group!

Actually I’ve been in Tutuban a couple of times after that but for some reason I didn’t venture to Ongpin anymore.  So I couldn’t contain my joy when hubby happily tagged along and toured me to the new well not so new anymore Lucky Chinatown Mall.

Then we had late lunch at Wai Ying in Benavidez.  Yum!
