There are places in the metro that we try to visit again, this time with our darling bub. One place that we revisited one lazy afternoon was Manila Zoo. It is home to about a thousand animals from 90 species (source).
We last visited the zoo around 3 years ago with just 1 kid in tow. Now, we have a grade-schooler and a toddler exploring the place. The lil girl didn’t enjoy it as much as her baby brother. She was only interested in getting on a boat you can rent which goes in the man-made mini lake in the middle of the grounds. The lil boy, on the other hand, can’t seem to get enough of the place. He wanted to even touch the animals!
The trip was cut short when the lil girl threw a tantrum. So we decided to leave in a huff. Nevertheless, it was still good and fun while it lasted.
Here are some photos of the animals you’ll see when you visit the main zoo.
There’s also Kinder Zoo, which would entail you having to pay for another entrance fee. We went here the last time and we had some pictures with colorful birds. We didn’t go here anymore since we left in a bit of a hurry. Maybe next time when the kids are both a bit older.
