Okay, I know it’s late again. Busy mom of 2 here. I know it’s terrible of me to neglect my blog but I somehow can’t find time to squeeze in everything now. Really sorry about that.
Anyway, I’ll photo blog my way through the 2014 UAAP Cheerdance Competition which was won again by National University, followed by University of the Philippines, and on 3rd, the comebacking University of Sto. Tomas.
If you like to see the real action, head on over to youtube.com and search for their performances. What’s nice about this year’s competition was that I was able to watch it live (through the help of friend’s connections) and with my family and good friends.
Then we went inside and was greeted with this huge crowd.
Then the squad competition started. *caption – school with their final ranking
University of the East – 7
Far Eastern University – 5
University of the Philippines – 2
University of Sto. Tomas – 3
Ateneo de Manila University – 8
my beloved De La Salle University 🙂 – 6
Adamson University – 4
National University – 1
Before the awarding commenced, UP’s Babaylan’s rainbow flag was passed around the coliseum, transferred from one school to the next. It’s a bit touching because it strengthened UP’s cause of “pantay pantay”. Won’t post pics of that anymore as you’d probably have an overdose of footage of that one already.
’til next year!
