My Christmas break this year was a
bit lot different from holidays past because:
1. I’m heavily pregnant (due to give birth in a couple of weeks)
2. I have a 5-year old daughter who is very opinionated and has a say on the many things around her
3. We don’t have a household help nor a yaya
Yes, that’s right folks. We don’t have anybody to take care of the chores this season. We have been yaya-less since August and we’ve managed with only an all-around help so it was no biggie. But when the break was just about to start (specifically just merely a week before Christmas), our helper decided to go back home to her province. No advance notice whatsoever, she just packed her bags and bid us goodbye in less than 24 hours.
The only silver lining is that at least it’s vacay time so we’ll be in the house to take care of the lil girl and the many things we need to prepare for the baby. So I thought it would be hard but manageable. Not so. It
was is hard!!!
I think I’ve washed my vacay days away by doing the laundry, cleaning the bedroom/ bathroom, prepping the play area and organising the lil girl’s birthday party. And I’m not done yet. I still need to find time to wash the baby’s stuff. Arrgh.
So I badly need a helper and a yaya. I don’t think I can carry on like this especially if I’ll be puyat when the baby arrives. If you can refer someone, preferably 2 trustworthy, masipag and maalaga househelpers, please let me know.
I’m begging you….sob.
