Last Sunday, Philippine Precious Moments Collectors Community organized a pre-Mother’s Day celebration held at the Philippine Army Grandstand in Fort Bonifacio (original venue was Malacanang Park…sayang).
It was a well-attended event considering it was super hot last weekend. We got there lunch time and there were already quite a number of families lining up at the registration and queuing at the different booths.
We immediately lined up at the face painting booth…and because kids and grown ups alike are waiting for their turn, waiting time for a 5-minute painting was 30 minutes. Good thing the lil girl was occupied with coloring.
She sure knows how to sit still…training ground for make-up sessions in the future. Lol.
After the long wait and under the heat of the sun, she went to try the giant slide. She was helped by the assistant in going up the steep stairs and positioning her on top.
Then she was released…can you see her?
Other booths in the event were hand spa by Mary Kay, which I availed but was not able to take photo of; nail art, health check (they get your blood type, blood pressure etc), DIY card and magnet (scrapbooking style) and of course, a photobooth.
It was a bit tiring because of the midday heat, but we had fun. Simple pleasures mean a lot. Plus, we brought home these 2 lovely figurines…
which made everything worthwhile…and another figurine (which I will feature in another post) that made me more excited than the ‘lil girl! 🙂
Special thanks to Jojo and Amiel of Precious Moments. Sa uulitin!
