A Day at the Park

Remember my ‘lil girl’s field trip earlier this year?  Di ba, we missed the trip to Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife because we had to rush her to the hospital?  Well, one weekend we decided to head to QC and see for ourselves what we missed.

The last time I was there was during my school field trip ages ago.  I can’t remember much from that trip anymore so it was a welcome treat for me as well to visit the park.  Since it was a last minute thing, we got there late afternoon already.  Muntik na kaming di papasukin because they close at 6PM.  But dahil magaling mag-awa face, finally they allowed us to enter with just 1 hour to go around.

The park has a lake with a venue in the middle which they rent out for parties.

There’s also a zoo but it closes at 4PM so di kami umabot.  What we saw were birds near the entrance na lang.

There are picnic huts/ tables scattered in the park.  It’s really best to drop by for a visit in the afternoon and hang out until sunset.

The park is quite big.  If I’m not mistaken, it occupies a whole block.

Oh well, maybe next time we’ll have time to explore.
