My Kalibo Talk

A couple of weeks back, I was invited by Aklan Catholic College to talk in their Regional Tourism Conference in Kalibo.

I talked about my beloved company, Cebu Pacific.  The topic’s about Cebu Pacific’s marketing strategies.  I shared the company’s humble beginnings in 1996 (we’re going on our 17th year this month) and its journey toward becoming the Philippines’ largest carrier.

It was actually fun as I was in the company of young people.  Parang ang sarap lang ng feeling na maging college student ulit.  Ang taas ng energy nila so nakakadala rin.

Too bad I had to fly out immediately after my talk so I didn’t have time to mingle with them and get to know them better.  I only spent some sort of quality time with the committee head in charge of the speakers – Precious Panganiban.  I’m thankful that she’s very welcoming and I was really taken cared of.  Actually, lahat sila are attentive and maasikaso.

I also had the privilege to share the stage with the following:
1. Ms. Roselle Ruiz of Aklan Provincial Tourism Office
2. Mr. Darwin Cayetano of Tracking Treasure
3. Mr. Jose Nicholas Penaflor of Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa

Thank you ACC!
