I was as excited as my ‘lil girl last week because it’s her first school field trip! We were up really early for a full day of fun, sightseeing and learning. Too bad it was marred by a freaky incident which I’ll share with you in another post.
What I like about going with Lian is that I get to meet her friends and see how she interacts with kids her age. I know how she behaves with adults so it’s always refreshing to see her hang out with her classmates.
Look – always holding hands with her best friend

This one melts my heart – I can so imagine how tight their hugs were
Sarap talagang maging bata! That day, I was transported back to my childhood. I was one of them and I enjoyed spending time not only with my daughter, but with her friends as well. What made me even happier was when these kids looked at me with wide-eyed innocence to ask where we’re going next and what we’re going to do there. It’s as if I hold all the answers to their questions – that made me feel important and all-knowing haha…I wonder ’til when kaya ganun ang tingin nila sa kin? 🙂
I also remember the book “All I Really Need to Know, I Learned in Kindergarten”. It still holds true. I’ll post that in awhile. Seeing them that day is truly heartwarming. I hope they don’t grow up too fast.
